HR Administrator (9-Month FTC - Maternity Cover)

Start date: Early June 2025 (latest)

Working Pattern: On-site 5 days a week (flexibility possible post-probation)

Salary: £26,000-£27,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data confidentiality
  • Support new hire processes including documentation and inductions
  • Administer employee lifecycle changes (promotions, terminations, benefits)
  • Collate and submit monthly payroll data accurately and on time
  • Manage health-related admin (eye tests, vaccinations) with external providers
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies
  • Communicate HR updates and initiatives clearly across the business

Provide ad-hoc support to the Senior Leadership Team:

  • Take meeting minutes
  • Arrange travel and training
  • Support with expenses and event logistics
  • Help coordinate employee training sessions and keep records updated
  • Assist with billing and invoice queries related to SLT and site activities

What We’re Looking For

  • CIPD qualified or working towards it (or equivalent experience)
  • Familiarity with UK employment legislation and basic HR processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and OneDrive
  • Previous use of HRIS systems and a desire to improve workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives under pressure
  • Team player who enjoys supporting others and working collaboratively
