My client is seeking a HR Advisor, for 12 months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity cover)  who is creative logically minded with a "Can do attitude". The right candidate should be self-sufficient, polished and professional.Ideal candidate should have exposure as a HR Generalist keen to develop their HR expertise in a fast past environment.Main Responsibilities 
  • Act as main point of contact for senior managers and line managers with regard to giving direction, advice and support on a complete range of ER matters including, individual casework (disciplinary, capability, sick absence, change management etc) and relevant employment law. 
  •  Manage employee casework and provide guidance and solutions and keep up to date with all formal and informal case work.
  •  Provide a responsive and high-quality HR advisory service to all staff, recommending organisational improvements as appropriate.
  • Manage sensitive staffing issues e.g. disciplinary processes and individual staff case work ensuring due diligence is applied at every stage of the process.
  • Act as a facilitator in meetings between staff and managers where there may be issues/ concerns.
  • Ensure that all HR processes and procedures are best practice at all times and devise, promulgate and implement revised local processes and procedures when they do not. 
  • Through HR Admin team, ensure probationary procedures are fulfilled and that new starters and managers are made aware of their responsibilities.
Skill and Experience 
  • HR professional with substantial experience in either a generalist or specialist environment, including operational exposure to application of employment law, case management and organisational change management
  • Evidence of well-developed communication, influencing and negotiation skills X Experience of advising and influencing management on staffing matters including HR operations and practice.
