Finance System Specialist – ContrOCCStart: ASAPHours: 21 hours (3 days per week)Rate: £550 per day (Inside IR35)Duration: 3 – 6 Months initially Hybrid Working Arrangement: 1 day per fortnight onsite in CambridgeshireResponsibilities: • Engage with the business teams to agree finance gaps and technical issues to be addressed, understand what financial transactions are not being processed through Liquidlogic/ContrOCC (i.e. those held in spreadsheets or paid directly with ERP)• Identify a programme of works to develop and improve the financial processes between Liquidlogic and ContrOCC to support the scheme of financial management• Recommend changes to the system, and support testing and approval process to move from development to live implementation (define acceptance criteria and develop test plans)• Identify reports that can be enabled for the organisation to forecast spend and monitor impact on budgets.• Identify training gaps and identify training solutions (working with the Business and Digital Services Team)• Ensure issues are raised in the relevant call logging systems in a timely manner for resolution• Ensure that changes proposed do not impact on finance imports/exports to other systems (i.e. BAM Portal and ERP)• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and Programme Management reporting any risks or issues to the Project Manager/deputy.Requirements: • Experience dealing with financial processes and application of scheme of financial management• Liquidlogic (how placements and other costed activities should be recorded)• ContrOCC (understand all the key features and how to process and monitoring financial transactions)• Working with others, communication skills, project management methodologies
