I’m delighted to be recruiting for an IT Analyst on behalf of a prestigious and highly regarded educational institution in Cambridge.The Role:As an IT Analyst, you will provide technical support across various levels, offering first, second, and third-line support to the organisation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line support for IT and audio-visual technologies.
  • Service Desk: Efficiently managing support calls, escalating when required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve more complex issues as part of second and third-line support.
  • Assist with the installation and maintenance of servers, applications, and network equipment.
  • Lead technical projects, from identifying needs to full implementation.
  • Ensure security through regular updates, security scans, and managing backup operations.
  • Work closely with the IT Operations Manager on packaging and delivering applications.
  • Maintain the IT asset database and manage licensing compliance.
  • Maintain user accounts and assist with Starter and Leaver processes.
Experience Required:
  • Demonstrable experience working within a similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to configure and maintain network equipment and servers.
  • Experience managing technical projects from start to finish.
  • Proactive and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
