We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our Cambridge based clients who are looking for an Application Support Specialist to join their team on a full time, permanent basis with options of hybrid working.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1st line support for staff members on bespoke, in-house applications, and escalating where necessary
  • Providing training and support on systems to both technical and non-technical staff
  • Working closely with the IT and Operations team to maintain and update software
  • Working with large datasets and assist with data management across the company
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Contribute and assist with software projects and upgrades

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar technical role such as Service Desk or Helpdesk
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to impart technical knowledge to a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to learn on new systems quickly and work in a fast paced environment
  • Have excellent planning, organisational and troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
