This Cambridge based college is seeking a friendly and approachable Help Desk Administrator to join their supportive IT team . Your primary role will be to provide outstanding administrative support to their helpdesk service, assisting students and staff with IT-related queries

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a welcoming and efficient helpdesk service, ensuring quick responses to IT issues raised by students and staff.
  • Manage user accounts and assist with system access queries.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot problems on Microsoft Office and Windows systems.
  • Collaborate with a small and close-knit IT team to support the daily IT needs of the school.

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows systems.
  • Experience with account management tasks, such as setting up user accounts and managing permissions.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an FE (Further Education) or IT environment

The role is full time based on-site

Salary is £22,169 - £22,724 FTE

The job is subject to completing an enhanced DBS Check
