Project Manager - Hardware

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager - Hardware based in Cambridge, to join a world-leader in network development for Internet of Things ("IoT") communications.

The Project Manager - Hardware, Cambridge, will report into the senior management team and will require a hands-on, practical management approach and knowledge, with ideally some experience in the following areas:

- Integrated Project Planning to develop cohesive project plans that integrate hardware and firmware development efforts.

- Alignment of hardware and firmware milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.

- Internal technical support requirements between departments (related to hardware projects or deliveries) are clearly captured, planned in and followed-up to completion.

- Implementation of agile methodologies that complement the Hardware development cycle.

The Project Manager - Hardware, Cambridge, will ideally have a background in hardware engineering and will have the following experience:

- A strong background managing multiple projects from concept through to completion.

- You must have worked for a business manufacturing complex electronics and come from a hardware engineering background.

- Exposure to Wireless, zigbee, 6lowpan, IOT etc would be highly beneficial.

- Bachelors or Master's Degree in relevant fields (technical degrees in Electronics Engineering would be an advantage).

- Project Management qualification/membership (Prince2/MAPM).
