Project Engineer - Electromechanical Systems

We are seeking a Project Engineer specializing in electromechanical systems for a permanent role. This position is perfect for someone dedicated to delivering complex electromechanical solutions. You will collaborate with various clients to provide innovative radar systems and supporting technologies, primarily in the UK, with occasional international travel. Comprehensive training on radar systems and practical experience will be provided to ensure your success.

• Design, develop, and specify system architecture for Blighter radar systems.
• Collaborate with clients to establish and refine customer requirements.
• Oversee radar development trials and customer demonstrations.
• Implement and deliver complete radar solutions.
• Manage Blighter radars and supporting systems as needed.
• Travel to supplier and customer locations in the UK and abroad for installations and support.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and end users to ensure project success.

• Experience in system-level design, development, and analysis.
• Ability to create and maintain system diagrams and documentation.
• Understanding of formal system requirements across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Familiarity with project management practices and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with various system hardware and software.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in customer-facing roles.
• Experience with radar systems and knowledge in the aerospace, sensors, or security sectors is advantageous.
• A background in electrical or electronic engineering, software engineering/computer science, or mechanical engineering is beneficial.
