Technical & Quality Manager

Location: Waterbeach (CB25)
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to 45,000 per annum plus a company car

Polytec are looking for an experienced Technical and Quality manager to join our Waterbeach based client. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of our clients Quality procedures as well as providing technical support to customers both pre and post sales.

Responsibilities:

* Provide technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes
* Address any product related queries in a timely manner
* Provide technical training to customers on the effective use of the products
* Use customer feedback to help identify potential new features or products
* Identify solutions to reduce support costs
* Analyse customers needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements
* Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
* Regularly evaluate the efficiency of technical procedures according to organisational objectives and apply improvements
* Manage R and D activities and resource allocation
* Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics

Requirements:

* Proven work experience as a Technical and Quality manager with a manufacturing environment
* Strong technical background ideally with knowledge of investment casting technologies
* Ability to understand customer requirements and suggest timely solutions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
