We are delighted to be working with this Cambridge based organisation. They are recruiting for a First Line IT Support Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to a range of employees and customers
  • Resolving issues over the phone and face to face
  • Logging tickets on Freshdesk
  • Diagnosing issues with hardware and software
  • Undertaking ad hoc project assigned by the IT Manager
  • Stock management of IT equipment
  • Educating users on best practices
  • Working with an outsourced support team on escalated issues

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in similar role
  • Proficient in Windows Server, O365, Azure and Intune
  • Experience with networking
  • Willingness to learn
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
