Your new companyHays are supporting a fantastic organisation in Cambridge who are looking for a part-time designer to assist with the successful launch of a new product. This temporary position is being offered on a part-time basis of 3 days a week, for a duration of circa 3 months. Your new roleAs the Designer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all marketing and sales materials are polished, professional, and aligned with their brand identity. Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Website Design: Create and refine the design for product landing pages, ensuring an intuitive user experience, strong visual appeal, and clear communication of product benefits.
  • Brochure & Print Collateral: Design brochures and print materials that effectively communicate the product's features, clinical benefits, and technical specifications.
  • Sales Presentations: Develop visually compelling PowerPoint or digital presentations to support sales teams in client pitches and product demonstrations.
  • Packaging Design: Design product packaging, working alongside the inhouse regulatory team on compliance with regulatory guidelines while also ensuring it is in line with brand guidelines and enhances brand recognition.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all key stakeholders to ensure design outputs align with the Team's product launch strategy.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual language across all platforms.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have expertise in designing websites, brochures, sales presentations, and packaging, with an eye for detail.

  • Proven experience in designing for medical devices or similar regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web design tools (e.g., Hubspot, Squarespace)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing work on websites, brochures, sales presentations, and packaging design.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, especially as they relate to medical device marketing, is a plus.
  • Available for an immediate start.
