We are seeking a Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Cambridge.

About the Role

As a Mid-Weight Interior Designer, you'll bring spaces to life through technical drawings, mood boards, and 3d sketches. Collaborating with project teams, and contractors, you'll ensure exceptional design outcomes that meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Space planning and creating innovative interior design concepts that align with the client brief.
  • Developing 2D layout designs using AutoCAD and concept sketches.
  • Preparing detailed construction and record drawings
  • FF&E presentations and scheduling
  • Assisting with project proposals and cost estimates.
  • Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act, and health and safety standards.
  • Meeting project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

What We Are Looking For:

Skills & Experience:

  • Mid-Weight UK experience in interior design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup and Office Suite.
  • Strong technical detailing and compliance knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
  • Background in Interior Design & Build (preferred).
  • Problem-solving mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
