Our client is a prestigious school based in Central Cambridge. They are currently looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to support their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied role which would suit a strong administrator who has an interest in finance.

Main duties will include:

  • Purchasing and procurement
  • Processing school fees
  • Prepare budget reports
  • Petty cash management
  • Manage school charity accounts
  • Monthly reporting on utility usage
  • Financial management relating to school trips and events
  • Any other admin support as required, including occasionally cover reception

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a busy office environment
  • Ideally some experience within finance or highly numerate and good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience within a school is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
