What you'll do:
As the Head of Data Science, you will be at the forefront of leading a talented team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists. Your role will involve setting the strategic direction for the function, ensuring it aligns with our client's ambitious growth plans. You'll also maintain a hands-on approach, assisting in delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs. Collaboration is key in this role as you'll work closely with other departments to drive continuous improvement within the data science function.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Head of Data Science role will bring proven leadership experience within data science. You'll have hands-on experience with Python, Cloud technologies, and NLP. Your background includes leading multi-disciplinary teams and helping build roadmaps or strategies. While not essential, previous experience in the medical or insurance industry would be advantageous. Above all, your strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively will set you apart.
* Proven experience in a similar leadership role within data science* Experience with Python, Cloud technologies (AWS,Azure, GCP) and NLP* Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team* Experience building a roadmap/strategy* Ideally, previous experience in the medical or insurance industry* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively
