Our client, is seeking an experienced Senior/Associate Town Planner to join their expanding team. This opportunity provides a permanent role with significant room for professional growth within a team poised for expansion.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing development applications ranging from minor projects to extensive land promotion for up to 10,000 homes
  • Contributing to and driving the growth of the planning team
  • Providing strategic town planning expertise and support to the wider business
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant planning legislation and policies
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Supporting junior team members and promoting an inclusive team environment
  • Effectively engaging with local authorities (LA) and navigating the planning process
  • Delivering comprehensive planning appraisals and managing multiple projects concurrently


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in development management and town planning
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work predominantly in the office with some hybrid working post-probation
  • Motivated to hit the ground running and contribute to team growth
  • Background in local authority (LA) environments will be considered
  • Relevant degree in town planning or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong understanding of planning legislation and policy frameworks
