Location: CambridgePosition: Full-Time or Part-TimeAre you an enthusiastic and driven legal professional with a passion for employment law? My Client who are a Leading Law firm are looking for an Associate to join their vibrant Employment team in Cambridge. This role offers flexibility, allowing for both part-time and full-time working arrangements.Role Overview:As an Associate, you will work closely with two experienced Partners, managing a diverse and engaging caseload for both employers and employees. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Handling restrictive covenant disputes
  • Addressing confidential information disputes
  • Managing Employment Tribunal litigation
  • Providing day-to-day workplace advice to employers
  • Advising on and drafting settlement agreements
  • Offering corporate support
  • Drafting employment contracts and Employee Handbooks
  • Navigating Data Protection issues in the workplace
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert advice on a wide range of employment issues.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in employment law and share knowledge with the team.
  • Foster opportunities for cross-referral of work within the firm.
  • Participate in business development initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:My client  are seeking a candidate with:
  • 3-6 years PQE in Employment Law
  • A strong foundation in employment law
  • Collaborative skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively
  • Excellent technical and drafting abilities
  • Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • A proactive, ambitious, and organized mindset with attention to detail
