Position: Family Associate SolicitorRole Type: Permanent, Full-TimeLocation: Cambridge (hybrid working)Salary indications: 70,000 - 85,000 per annumOur client a top ranked Legal 500 practice based in Cambridge, who are actively seeking to recruit a Family Solicitor with a minimum of four years PQE to join our client's established department. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to clients in various family law matters.Responsibilities

  • Handle a caseload of family law matters, including matrimonial, cohabitation agreements, ancillary relief, post-nuptial agreements, and pre-nuptial agreements.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their best interests are upheld.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and negotiations, advocating for their rights and desired outcomes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
  • Draught legal documents, including agreements, petitions, and court applications.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and confidentiality requirements.

Candidate Requirements

  • UK qualified Solicitor with a mimum of 4 years PQE with expertise in family law.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of family law legislation and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and provide high-quality, client-focused service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
