Are you a Paralegal with a solid understanding of commercial contracts, looking to take the next step in your legal career? We have an exciting opportunity for an In-House Commercial Contracts Paralegal to join our clients In-House legal team. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of challenging projects, with the good potential for career progression, including sponsorship and support to qualify via SQE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting commercial reviews of customer enquiries related to the purchase of products, reviewing, negotiating and drafting terms and conditions.
  • Negotiating contracts with customers and suppliers to secure favourable terms while mitigating risk.
  • Reviewing customer purchase orders and addressing any legal or contractual issues.
  • Providing legal and contractual advice to internal stakeholders across various departments.
  • Assisting with the resolution of disputes and warranty claims, ensuring prompt and satisfactory outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  • Paralegal with a strong understanding of commercial agreements, with experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts.
  • Prior experience in the construction or energy sectors would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage your own workload, work to tight deadlines, and handle conflicting priorities with a high degree of organisation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages and other relevant legal software.
