Legal Support Assistant / Secretary (Senior) - Private Client Team

About The Role

TSR Legal are proud to be working with a highly regarded law firm, who are now looking for a highly organised and proactive Legal Support Assistant / Secretary to join their friendly and dynamic Private Client team in their Cambridge office. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a sociable and collaborative team, working closely with fee earners across multiple offices.

An interest or background in private client work or the legal sector would be an advantage however applications are encouraged from professional / commercial services.

As a Legal Support Assistant / Secretary, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative and business support, ensuring the smooth running of this busy and friendly team of fee earners alongside other support staff. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and forms.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for administrative and business support requests.
  • Managing the file opening process for the team.
  • Assisting with financial transactions as required.
  • Handling client queries and liaising with external parties such as estate agents.
  • Proactively managing diaries and scheduling appointments for fee earners.

About You

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and confident typing abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in a legal or professional services setting (desirable).
