We’re thrilled to represent our client, a highly regarded law firm, in their search for a dedicated Conveyancing professional to join their Residential Property team in Cambridge.About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to work in an office-based environment with flexible working options. As a Residential Conveyancer, you will manage a varied caseload and play a key role in supporting clients through all aspects of the conveyancing process. Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a full caseload of conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Liaising proactively with third parties to ensure smooth transaction progress.
  • Managing cases to completion efficiently while maintaining service standards and meeting client expectations.
  • Providing technical expertise and support to colleagues, including advice on probate sales and assents.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding client interests at all times.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, external providers, and professional networks.
  • Delivering a comprehensive legal service tailored to client needs.
About You:The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE and proven experience managing a diverse range of conveyancing cases.Key Skills and Experience:
  • Expertise in complex legal matters, such as probate sales, shared ownership, new builds, and lease extensions.
  • Proficient in resolving technical issues and title defects.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with MS Office and case management systems (CMS).
  • Exceptional time management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to use management information (MI) to drive results.
