An opportunity to join the procurement function of this non for-profit organisation based in Cambridge. There is a requirement to be in the office 1-2 days per week with flexibility on hours of work available and this opportunity is available on a full-time basis. This role will take ownership of key areas of spend with the support of senior colleagues and offers huge opportunities for growth and career development with CIPS study on offer.
Key areas of focus will include: managing procurement from cradle to grave across a variety of Indirect spend; supporting Category Management strategy implementation; managing the Supplier Approval Process; communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders; support the development of procurement reporting and sustainability reporting; and the co-ordination of all incoming requests for procurement services.
To succeed in this role you will have demonstrable procurement experience with defined working knowledge of PCR2015 and/or evidence of undertaking PA training; the ability to build, influence and sustain service-led relationships with internal stakeholders; a willingness to develop a procurement career and take ownership for your development; excellent communication skills and strong numeracy and literacy skills.
