Maintenance Engineer – Permanent Nights
Location: Cambridgeshire | Shift: 4on 4off | £50,000 - £52,000
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a global, market-leading business—someone who can keep production moving and standards high.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of production and packaging machinery. With a strong focus on both electrical and mechanical equipment, you'll help minimise downtime, prevent breakdowns, and ensure operations run smoothly. It’s a hands-on role that’s critical to day-to-day performance—and the impact you make will be felt across the whole site.
What you’ll bring:
- A time-served engineering background with a strong electrical bias
- Solid mechanical skills and the ability to work across a range of systems
- Previous experience in a food production or FMCG environment
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a practical, no-nonsense approach to solving problems
