Resourcing Group are currently working with an established FM provider who are seeking an experienced, highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work covering maintenance in commercial buildings.

Job Details:

  • Salary: 40,000 per annum
  • Working hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
  • Locations covered: Luton, Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire
  • Contract: Permanent, full-time role
  • Sector: Commercial properties, including offices and shops

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on commercial properties
  • Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults and issues
  • Ensuring all work is completed to high standards and in line with health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems
  • Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring smooth service delivery

Requirements:

  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in building maintenance, ideally in commercial environments
  • Full UK driving license
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
