Office Assistant

Start: ASAP

Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £Negotiable DOE

Hours: Monday – Thursday 08.30am – 17.00pm ,  Friday 08.30 – 16.30pm

Job Duties:

  • Make weekly phone calls to check on order progress
  • Answering inbound calls on reception desk, keeping phone and mail list up to date
  • Deal with customer enquiries and complaints
  • Keeping the database updated in regards to shipping and quotations
  • Providing general administrative assistance to the procurement department
  • Raising purchase orders on MRP system
  • Obtaining quotations from suppliers
  • Welcoming visitors and informing relevant company personnel
  • Manage reception area, dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Ensuring meeting rooms are kept presentable

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent customer service is essential for this position
  • Strong attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent communication , both written and verbal
  • Smartly presented
  • Excellent IT skills including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
