We have a wonderful part-time opportunity for an Office Assistant to work with a leading institute based in Cambridge City Centre.

As the Office Assistant, your primary role will be to provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office operations.

This is a part-time position to begin w/c 7th January for approx. 3 months (possible extension). The role will be to work 15 hours a week over 2 days (preferably Wednesday and Thursday but can offer some flexibility). Due to the nature of the role, you will be 100% office based with no remote working.

Key Duties

  • Setting up online meetings (via Zoom platform)
  • Assist with setting up teaching rooms and providing support to lectures
  • Assist with uploading teaching materials to online system
  • Assist Programme Administrator with admissions and assessments
  • Drafting emails to lecturers
  • Updating databases
  • Assisting with events
  • Assisting the Networks Manager with ad hoc duties when required

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working within an office environment
  • Proficient in office IT systems and online platforms
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A professional and personable disposition
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service
