Company & Project: A leading regional Main Contractor based in Cambridge are seeking to recruit a talented Assistant Site Manager to work on a recent project win in central Cambridge. The business works across multiple sectors including: Healthcare, Residential, Commercial, Education and MOD and are looking to grow their Construction Delivery team.
The successful candidate will be joining to work on a c40m Education project, working as part of a team.
The business has a busy pipeline of future projects and repeat clients in the local area.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful Assistant Site Manager will take responsibility for helping with site management functions for the project: from health & safety, monitoring for subcontractors, site coordination and snagging.
Desirable Experience:
- Previously held Assistant or Trainee Site Manager role with a Main Contractor.
- Experience working in the industry for a minimum of 3 years.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous Roles: Assistant Site Manager OR Trainee Construction Manager OR Trainee Site Manager OR Assistant Site Manager OR Site Manager.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree or MSc in Construction Management, NVQ Level 6 or comparable qualification. CSCS Card and SMSTS.
