Staffline is recruiting an Operations Manager in Cambridge.

The rate of pay is £(phone number removed) per annum!

This is a full-time role working fixed day shifts and the hours of work are:
- 8.30am to 5:30pm

Experience in a similar role is required.

Your Time at Work

As an Operations Manager, you will manage operational processes to ensure the effective flow of goods into, through, and out of the warehouse to the point of delivery. Maintain focus on quality management systems and lean principles to ensure Bunzl remains an efficient, low-cost operator.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring that warehouse operational costs are maintained within budget
- Providing regular and ad hoc operational reports as requested.
- Continuously assess warehouse staff against identified performance criteria and address issues of performance and conduct within the warehouse and deal with these by applying Bunzl HR policies.
- Ensuring all training requirements are met and regularly reviewed.
- Maintaining inventory in line with budget
- Maintaining fleet operations in line with legal requirements and Bunzl EHS and transport policy
- Ensuring all staff focus on the customer and find ways to meet customer needs converting business strategy into practical day-to-day activities
- Instil a customer service ethic throughout the warehouse and ensure that queries are dealt with efficiently.
- Ensuring customer service level meets company objectives, through measuring and taking corrective action where necessary.

You will have a successful warehouse, supervisory experience, and experience in the high volume, low margin distribution industry.
