Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Quality Supervisor to join their business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assist in achieving technical and quality goals, ensuring consistent implementation of technical needs by Operations and Production teams.
* Ensure products meet current legislation, safety standards, and company policies, procedures, and specifications.
* Actively contribute to the HACCP team, implementing related functions across the site and ensuring adherence to the HACCP plan.
* Assess risks before introducing new processes, products, or raw materials, and establish necessary controls and procedures.
* Apply systems to identify and protect products from potential contamination.
* Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation.
* Oversee the completion of all internal and external audits, ensuring effective communication with customers and suppliers on quality matters.
* Coordinate and improve current traceability documentation and systems.
* Implement and monitor KPI reporting for quality, ensuring compliance with weekly and monthly schedules.
* Manage lab sampling, reporting, and corrective actions for out-of-specification results, ensuring the correct level of testing is conducted.
About you:
* Food manufacturing experience in a similar role is required
