We are pleased to be working with a truly outstanding market leading FMCG business in the search for a Site Operations Manager to oversee a complex manufacturing site. Responsible for all manufacturing aspects of the site, across multiple processes that includes significant investment into automation.
This role will be about leading from the front, to promote a continuous improvement culture and implement processes to deliver a quality product. You will need to bring energy and motivate your team to strive towards consistent world class standards.
The task at hand will be to implement the strategy down to the day to day and you will need to be at the forefront of to make this a success, ensuring all operational KPI's are met. As all of the UK manufacturing continues to develop and change with challenges around labour, cost and automation there will be an emphasis on future proofing the business operationally and working closely with other senior managers to improve OEE and deliver margin, quality and service.
This opportunity will test your man management, planning and organisational skills as it is a 'hands on' culture, yet you will be given the opportunity to test your strategic thinking.

* Superb leadership qualities to coach and motivate your team
* Adaptable, tenacious and resilient
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills to engage effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
* Continuous Improvement mindset and delivery of CAPEX projects
* Complex manufacturing experience
* Knowledgeable with automated process and influencing improvements
* Financial acumen to ensure P&L objectives are met
