This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physicist to join this Cambridge based company. Working within an established material science team of leading scientists, you will conduct investigative research on the conductivity of materials, semiconductors and identify potential materials for decarbonisation of heating and cooling.In this role you will develop and test both new and existing materials which meet given application specifications. If you have experience in material modelling, and developing processes for material deposition, design and test of novel experimental techniques - this could be an excellent fit for you! You will also be expected to help further the companies Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio by inventing new concepts and applications for current materials.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Physics Degree/PhD in related field
  • Strong academic record in physics and understanding of theories and material properties.
  • Experience of modelling material properties for device structures.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
