Purpose

The role is to provide high quality final décor trim to aircraft cabin interior parts within a CAA and EASA Part 21G/145 aircraft interior manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application and handling of décor laminates to composite materials, using a variety of laminates and materials eg Isovolta / Schneller
  • Quality of work – adherence to technical drawings, works instructions and specifications ensuring traceability and jobcard records.
  • Efficiency – working within department production and quality targets
  • Team work – excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with the team at all levels
  • Ensure that work is completed within the Company Health and Safety guidelines
  • To perform to the best of your ability any other duties the business may require as and when needed.

Knowledge, Education, and Skills

Knowledge:

Essential

  • Competent in handling and application of adhesives and material  to aid trimming activities and knowledge in surface preparation.
  • Technical data reading / drawing interpretation

Desirable

  • Experience in the Aerospace industry

Education:

  • Time served in similar role or qualifications relevant to role.

Skills and competencies:

Essential

  • Demonstrate ability to be part of a team, apply knowledge and provide a high quality product
  • Must be adaptable and able to remain focused under pressure
  • Team player – effective and positive integration with a professional mindset

Desirable

  • Previous Aerospace industry experience highly desirable

Other material requirements

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, possess a ‘can do’ attitude and have a proactive and self-motivated approach to problem solving with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.  Flexibility to work additional hours to complete work to set targets if required.
