You will spend 50% of your time managing and leading the team, and 50% as a hands on Design Engineer.
You will be expected to achieve agreed delivery times & KPI`s on new machines, upgrades & spare parts, to create drawings, BOM`s & spares lists and will be expected to liaise effectively with the Electrical Design, Software & Controls and manufacturing teams. 聽 PERSON SPECIFICATION:聽Mechanical Engineering Design Manager, Mechanical Design Engineer , Drawing Office Manager - packaging machinery, turnkey capital equipment, industrial equipment
路 You WILL be an experienced Mechanical Engineering Design Manager (or Drawing Office Manager) or will be a very experienced Design Engineer looking to move into a management role. 路 You WILL have specific experience of special purpose machinery and ideally of packaging machinery. 路 You WILL be a qualified Mechanical Engineer to a minimum of HNC level. 路 You WILL have experience of using SolidWorks &/or AutoCAD software. 聽 THE COMPANY:聽 A very well established and profitable British manufacturer of packaging machinery & turnkey lines supplying the food, chemical and pharmaceutical markets in the UK and worldwide. 聽 I have recruited for this company for over 10 years and have placed 5 people here as managers, in engineering & in sales and all are still at the company and thriving. 聽 INTERESTED?
