Field Service Maintenance Engineer – Days                             

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 (Base) + Overtime!! 

Location: Cottenham, Cambridge

We are currently recruiting for an industrial heavy manufacturing company in the Cottenham, Cambridge area who are looking for a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer. My client is a major player within their area looking for a Mechanically Biased Field Service Engineer to join their team. From the moment you step onto site it is evident that the company oozes industrial engineering. You will get the opportunity to work within an engineering team that set high standards and are willing to support new engineers in their personal career development and skills development. The business is in the process of expanding its manufacturing site and potentially acquiring a new site in the north of England.

Skills acquired to be a Field Service Maintenance Engineer:

  • The Successful Field Service Maintenance Engineer must be Mechanically biased.
  • The Successful Field Service Maintenance Engineer must be willing to travel nationally with a company car and stay over night very occasionally.
  • The Successful Field Service Maintenance Engineer must have experience caryying out pipework installations
  • The Successful Field Service Maintenance Engineer will need to have had prior experience repairing mechanical faults on bearings, Belts, Chains, Gearboxes, Hydraulics, Pneumatics etc.
  • The Successful Field Service Maintenance Engineer will need to have had previous experience working in an industrial background with Heavy being preferred OR RAF/Armed Forces/ Royal Navy  background.
  • The Successful Field Service Maintenance Engineer needs to hold a full UK/EU driving licence.
