Mechanical Verification Technician | North Cambridge, CB25

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Testing electro-mechanical products to precise specifications and documenting results
  • Assembling PLC-controlled pneumatic test fixtures for product testing
  • Cataloguing and maintaining development test samples and equipment
  • Using workshop tools to modify and assemble components for verification testing
  • Driving to external test sites and preparing test fixtures

What You Bring:

  • Technical know-how: Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic drawings
  • Test & measurement: Experience with measuring instruments, pneumatics (basic), and electro-mechanical testing
  • Workshop skills: Drilling, tapping, dremel, using hand tools
  • PLC programming (basic): Mitsubishi Alpha (desirable but not essential)
  • Data & analysis: Competence in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis of test data
  • A proactive mindset: Detail-focused, structured, and able to thrive under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence required
