Mechanical Verification Technician | Cambridge | £27,000 - £37,000

As a Mechanical Verification Technician, you will become an integral part of our client’s product development process. Reporting to the Mechanical Verification Team Leader, you will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring products meet the highest standards of mechanical performance and reliability. Our client takes pride in fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Your Role:

+Conducting electro-mechanical testing in accordance with defined product test specifications.+Building and maintaining PLC-controlled pneumatic test fixtures.+Preparing and assembling mechanical components for testing based on design documentation.+Performing workshop modifications using hand tools and workshop equipment.+Managing test samples, maintaining equipment, and tracking departmental consumables.

Key Skills:

+Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and electronic drawings.+Basic understanding of pneumatics and pneumatic control systems.+Experience with measuring tools and instruments.+Basic PLC programming experience.+Basic mechanical workshop skills (e.g. drilling, tapping, use of Dremel and hand tools).+A relevant Apprenticeship or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).

+A DBS check is required for this role..+A full, clean UK driving licence is required. +This is a full time position, based on-site.
