Polytec is seeking an Assembly Technician for a 6-month contract in Cambridge, with a salary range of £25,000 to £30,000 per annum.
The role involves following manufacturing plans, testing assemblies, and logging data on the ERP system.
Candidates should have a GCSE Level education and experience in manufacturing laboratory or medical device instruments.
Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, are required.
Soldering skills and an understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings are advantageous.

Location: Cambridge (CB24)
Duration: 6 months initially, possible extension

Polytec are looking for an Assembly Technician for our client based just outside Cambridge.

Responsibilities:

* Undertake allocated tasks from the manufacturing plan
* Follow SOP documentation
* Test assemblies and product on completion
* Log everything on the ERP system
* Ensuring issues or potential issues are dealt with in a timely manner

Requirements:

* GCSE Level education
* Ability to work as part of a cross functional team
* Background in manufacturing laboratory or medical devices instruments
* Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
* Computer literate, competent using MS Office particularly Excel
* Good soldering skills would be an advantage
* An understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings would be an advantage
