A Lead TestTechnician with a background involving assembly and testing of electro-mechanical components and systems, will join a thriving award-winning Technology Company in North Cambridge.

Working within the thermal imaging space, the successful Lead Test Technician will bring a range of knowledge to include fault-finding and debugging of electro-mechanical systems, assembly and SMT soldering, reading schematics and ideally some experience with optical assembly.

You will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and test processes, ensuring the efficient production of opto-electromechanical devices.

To be considered for this Lead Test Technicianrole you shouldpossess the following:

  • A relevant formal Engineering qualification.
  • Familiarity across electronic, electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience of Electro-mechanical assembly techniques.
  • SMT Soldering and PCB repair skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding and debugging skills.
  • Experience using a range of standard test equipment.
  • An understanding of basic programming.
  • Exposure to optical assembly is highly beneficial.
