Overview
A leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join their expanding team. This role involves supporting the Operations team with a focus on electromechanical assembly, writing SOPs, and maintaining a well-organised work space.

The Role:
The company is rapidly growing and requires a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to assemble & test bespoke analysis systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with delicate instrumentation assembly and electronics, with strong troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience with optical assemblies is desirable. This position requires independent operation, a solid background in working with electronic and electromechanical equipment, and advanced laboratory instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronics Assembly
  • Testing of units
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair issues during the assembly process
  • Electronics repair work, wiring, soldering & general assembly work
  • Carrying out upgrades on modifications on units
  • Maintain detailed records of assembly, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Assemble bespoke analysis systems, ensuring all components are correctly integrated and functioning
  • Collaborate with other departments to address technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum A-level education within an Engineering discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly, testing, or repair environments
  • Experience in developing assembly processes, identifying flaws, and enhancing documentation for electromechanical, electrical, and electronic instrumentation is highly advantageous
  • ISO9001 experience preferred; GLP/GMP experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
