Daytime Healthcare are partnering with one of best and largest private award-winning hospital groups in the UK. They have an exciting opportunity for a Surgical Ward Nurse to join their Private Hospital In Cambridge. You will enjoy looking after general surgery patients including Orthopaedic, Urology, Bariatric surgery, Plastic surgery, ENT and Ophthalmology.

Surgical Staff Nurse Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting patients recovering from a range of different surgeries whilst providing high quality care.
  • Working with a high performing team of experienced nurses who constantly receive excellent patient satisfaction feedback.
  • Actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements.
  • Competent to make safe discharge decisions working with our consultant team.
  • Liaising and networking with other departments across the hospital.
  • Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being.
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
  • Promote best practice in health and safety and security.

Who are we looking for?

  • Qualified Nurse who holds a valid NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have at least 1 years surgical or A&E experience in a hospital setting.
  • Passionate about providing excellent clinical care.

Schedule:

  • Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon to Sunday
  • 12 hour shifts, 7:00am - 7:30pm and 7:00pm - 07:30am.
