Your new companyMarket-leading technology organisation based in central Cambridge.Your new roleAs the Office Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all Cambridge office requests. Your role will involve coordinating the meeting room calendar, managing day-to-day functions, and ensuring the office is always kept neat and tidy. You will welcome visitors in a friendly manner. You will also be ordering office supplies, tea, coffee, and snacks. You will ensure workplace policies and processes, such as fire safety, health & safety, and first aid, are properly implemented. Coordinating all maintenance and repairs in the office, managing relationships with third-party suppliers and building management, and providing other ad-hoc duties when necessary will also be key aspects of your role. Alongside this you will be Junior PA to the VP of Global Operations and others in the SLT team. As the role evolves the opportunity to get involved in projects and project coordination, HR & Recruitment is also a possibility. This position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment where you can make a significant impact on the office's efficiency and atmosphere in a role that will continue to grow and offer more responsibility and scope for progression.What you'll need to succeedIdeally, you should have proven and solid administration experience, particularly at office manager/junior PA level. This role requires excellent organisational and time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with colleagues and clients. The ability to work independently or as part of a team is crucial, allowing for flexibility in various work environments. Attention to detail is necessary to maintain high standards and accuracy in all tasks. Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads are important to manage varying demands. Additionally, good IT skills are required to navigate and utilize various software and technology tools effectively.
