SEND Lecturers Needed – Cambridge & Huntingdon (Part-Time & Full-Time Roles)We are currently seeking experienced SEND Lecturers for part-time and full-time roles across Cambridge and Huntingdon. These positions are available at Further Education Colleges and provide an opportunity to work with learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to SEND learners.
  • Provide tailored support and adapt teaching materials to meet individual needs.
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment and promote independence.
  • Monitor and assess learner progress, providing feedback and support to ensure success.
  • Work closely with other teaching staff and support teams to ensure the best outcomes for SEND learners.
  • Help with planning and implementing strategies for learners with EHCPs.
Key Requirements:
  • Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with SEND learners, particularly in a classroom environment.
  • A valid DBS check (essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for supporting SEND students.
  • Experience with EHCPs and SEND-specific strategies is a plus.
