- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to SEND learners.
- Provide tailored support and adapt teaching materials to meet individual needs.
- Foster an inclusive learning environment and promote independence.
- Monitor and assess learner progress, providing feedback and support to ensure success.
- Work closely with other teaching staff and support teams to ensure the best outcomes for SEND learners.
- Help with planning and implementing strategies for learners with EHCPs.
- Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
- Experience working with SEND learners, particularly in a classroom environment.
- A valid DBS check (essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for supporting SEND students.
- Experience with EHCPs and SEND-specific strategies is a plus.
