EMEA Payroll Specialist - Cambridge (hybrid)

We are currently working with a leading Cambridge based technology company who are looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Specialist, where you will provide professional, accurate, confidential, and efficient payroll services to support the smooth delivery of payroll processes across the EMEA region. This role involves managing outsourced payroll processes and supporting the EMEA payrolls, ensuring compliance and efficiency in coordination with our outsourced provider.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support internal and external audits across EMEA.
  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process for assigned EMEA payrolls in coordination with the outsourced provider.
  • Responsible for delivering payroll/accounting month-end procedures.
  • Collaborate with the business to answer complex payroll queries and support the HR function to resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Ensure timely and accurate input of required information from the HRIS system and email instructions.
  • Ensure completion of appropriate statutory returns and other statutory reporting information.
  • Handle all payroll-related queries directly and confidently.
  • Maintain information in accordance with legal and company requirements of retention and confidentiality.
  • Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of company and legislative requirements in the area of responsibility and advise colleagues on the impact of any changes or improvements put forward or required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience within an EMEA payroll environment.
  • Experienced customer service skills.
  • Experience working with multiple policies and bargaining agreements across Europe.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Beneficial Skills:
  • Experience of Finance processes including GL management.
  • Knowledge of Workday.
  • CIPP qualification.
