Working hours:Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8:00- 5pm

Our Client are looking for Mechanical Fabric Engineer to join theirFM department to cover around the Cambridge area.

The key purpose of this role is to carry out routine HVAC and/or Plantroom and plumbingEngineering work, preventative maintenance and repairs. You will ensure that various pre planned maintenance schedules are kept up to date and maintained as may be required. The role calls for leadership and setting visible standards of personal performance and accountability and the post holder is expected to function with a degree of independence.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

  • Carry out fault finding and defect rectification to items of installed plant and equipment as may be defined and specified
  • Assist in multi trade support of other members of the FM service team in completing work
  • To escort contractors around the site as and when required in accordance with written procedures.
  • To carry out the installation of new plant and apparatus as may be defined and specified.
  • To carry out investigations into the performance of the plant and equipment installed in the site and to produce related reports and recommendations as may be required.
  • To become familiar with the operation and maintenance of the various systems and equipment installed in the whole of the premises as defined or requested.

What you need to do the job

You are required to have HVAC and/or Mechanical Engineering Qualification (C&G, NVQ).
The successful candidate must have a flexible and proactive with a commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement to working approach.
