Our client is an investment firm in the cryptocurrency industry built by ex-seniors in a leading crypto exchange. They are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager with extensive experience in the crypto sector and a strong background in dealing with the FCA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with FCA regulations and industry best practices.
- Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including AML/KYC requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all FCA-related matters, including license applications, audits, and communications.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Compliance Manager in the cryptocurrency industry.
- In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations and experience dealing with the FCA.
- Strong understanding of AML/KYC requirements and other relevant compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are a plus.
- Mandarin speaking is preferred.
