A leading Cambridgeshire based FMCG company are looking to strengthen the supply chain function with the addition of a Business Planning Manager. You will be tasked with leading and developing the planning team to deliver business goals and objectives.

A key part of your role will be to manage the tactical and strategic planning functions, managing weekly production plans, ensuring delivery of capacity and labour planning whilst maintaining agreed customer service level. You'll need to manage the inbound supply chain to guarantee accurate stock levels, maintain the supply element of the S&OP process and engage effectively with key stakeholders.

You will also need to look at methods of CI to improve the planning function and also utilise the ERP/MRP systems in place to support this. Developing key relationships with your team, other departments, customers and suppliers will be key to your role and a strong personality will be required to do this.

Ideal Candidate
* Experience as a Business Planning Manager or similar in an FMCG company
* Experience in managing and leading a team
* Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships, including exposure to customers
* Capability to work to tight deadlines and can make business critical decisions.
* Excellent attention to detail in work
* Continuous Improvement mindset
* Strong understanding of factory processes
