SEN Teaching Assistant - (Learning disabilities and Autism) needed!I am working closely with a special educational needs in Cambridshire, located just outside of Cambridge, by supporting with their SEN Teaching Assistant recruitment.Starting from September 2024, the school and I are looking for 5 SEN Teaching Assistants to join their growing and friendly team to support the pupils in this fast paced and modern SEN school.The School:

  • Caters for children with learning disabilities and autism
  • Provide a bespoke education plan for each individual child
  • Benefits from a wealth of resources that are available for pupils and staff
  • Has first class facilities available, such as, sensory rooms, soft play rooms and intervention rooms
  • Provides regular, on-going and specialist training
  • Has a highly supportive and engaging leadership team

The Role (SEN Teaching Assistant):

  • Supporting children on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Developing each child academically, socially and emotionally
  • No two days will be the same
  • Full time hours based on school term time (32.5 hours per week)
  • Working inside and outside the classroom
  • Highly rewarding with huge job satisfaction

What you will need:

  • Experience working with special educational needs (children or adults)
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude to work
  • Understanding that each child will require an individual approach and support plan
  • Good team work and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can provide this)
  • Right To Work in the UK (NO SPONSORSHIP)
