Role: Lead Supplier Quality EngineerLocation: Cambridge Salary: £50-60K plus annual company performance bonus (typically 5-6%), pension, private healthcare, dental plan, income protection plan, free parking, great restaurant facilities and an early finish on Fridays (Mon-Thurs 8 hours, Friday 5 hours)

Lead Supplier Quality Engineer:

  • Supplier Quality Engineer or Quality Engineer experience, within an electronics, telecommunications or similar industry
  • Extensive experience on-boarding and managing suppliers across a global supply chain, driving continuous improvement in a volume manufacturing environment
  • Strategic planning skills
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication and presentation skills and ability to effectively and proactively collaborate with suppliers and teams, across all levels of a business
  • Skilled in applying PPAP core tools within a volume manufacturing environment, in particular, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC and FAI
  • Knowledge of SMT production lines &/or electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Strong Auditor experience, both internal and supplier
  • Ability to be flexible around international travel (10% travel expected)
  • Full clean driving licence and own car
  • Quality Auditor to a recognized Quality standard, such as IRCA certified ISO9001 Lead Auditor
