Key Responsibilities:
Perform process design for water/wastewater treatment facilities and sewerage/water systems, aligning with project goals in customer, environmental, and operational performance.
Lead and manage key deliverables, including process calculations, hydraulic assessments, pump sizing, capacity calculations, data sheets, and technical evaluation of third-party equipment bids.
Ensure clear communication at all relevant levels to emphasise and implement technical excellence in all aspects of the project.
Proactively escalate any issues that could impact project timelines, costs, or quality to the Technical Manager before they escalate.
Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure smooth coordination between disciplines, managing overlaps or gaps and sharing best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience in process design for wastewater treatment plants and systems.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, process equipment, and capacity calculations.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple engineering teams.
Ability to anticipate potential project risks and escalate issues as needed.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in water treatment processes.
