Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform process design for water/wastewater treatment facilities and sewerage/water systems, aligning with project goals in customer, environmental, and operational performance.

  • Lead and manage key deliverables, including process calculations, hydraulic assessments, pump sizing, capacity calculations, data sheets, and technical evaluation of third-party equipment bids.

  • Ensure clear communication at all relevant levels to emphasise and implement technical excellence in all aspects of the project.

  • Proactively escalate any issues that could impact project timelines, costs, or quality to the Technical Manager before they escalate.

  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure smooth coordination between disciplines, managing overlaps or gaps and sharing best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in process design for wastewater treatment plants and systems.

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, process equipment, and capacity calculations.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple engineering teams.

  • Ability to anticipate potential project risks and escalate issues as needed.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in water treatment processes.
