MANE are currently recruiting for an Electrical Inspector (Permanent) for our Aerospace client based in Cambridge.

Job Purpose

The Electrical Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the established requirements, specifications, and materials agreed upon with the customer. You will collaborate with various departments within the organisation to ensure that products are manufactured in compliance with relevant design data and specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for releasing compliant products accompanied by the appropriate documentation.



Key Responsibilities



General and Task Management

  • Approve products based on approved design data, drawings, specifications, test plans, and supporting documentation from customers.
  • Provide assistance and support within the organisation regarding product compliance.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to optimise the use of inspection resources.
  • Conduct testing and inspections of electrical assemblies.
  • Inspect composite mouldings.
  • Accurately document non-conforming products to assist Quality Assurance Engineers.
  • Understand and apply the FAIR process in accordance with AS9102 standards.


Self-Management

  • Support and adhere to HSE regulations, company policies and procedures, quality and environmental standards, and all other organisational policies.
  • Actively contribute to fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Note: This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. The successful candidate may be required to perform additional tasks as directed by their line manager to meet the organisation's objectives.



Key Performance Measures

  • First pass yield and parts inspected.
  • Compliance with AS9100 and AS9102 requirements.
  • Achievement of agreed departmental KPIs.
