I am recruiting on behalf of a client who is looking for a detail-focused professional with a background in food and technical to join the team as a Specification Technologist. About the Role
As a Specification Technologist, you’ll transition from audit-focused responsibilities to a position where you’ll ensure the products meet both legal and customer standards through precise specification management. This involves crafting internal and external specifications, supporting accurate packaging, and maintaining high standards in compliance to deliver “right first time” information that supports our strong reputation for quality.
What You'll Do
- Use Your QA/Technical Expertise: Apply your quality audit knowledge to create and maintain specifications that meet BRC and customer standards, reviewing specifications bi-annually or annually as required.
- Ensure Compliance & Precision: Develop legally compliant artwork and packaging specifications, using your keen eye for detail to ensure everything meets legal and customer codes of practice.
- Drive Confidence with Accuracy: Minimise costly amendments in ingredients, recipes, and artwork, helping to build customer trust and satisfaction through precise, reliable specifications.
